My Common Genetic Characteristics

DIMPLES:

Dimples are little indents in your cheeks when you smile. They can also be little crescent shaped indents on the inside of your cheeks. (closer to your mouth) If you don’t have dimples then when you smile your cheeks are flat or they have no indents in them.

EARLOBES:

I have dangling earlobes so that means that my earlobes are not connected to the side of my head. If you have attached earlobes then the bottom of your ear connects directly to the side of your head without handing out at all.

MID-DIGIT HAIR:

Mid-digit hair is when you have hair on the 2nd knuckle of your fingers. But if you don’t have mid-digit hair then your 2nd knuckles are bare, but that dosen’t mean that you do or dont have hair on your first knuckle.

FORELOCK:

A forelock is when at the end of your hairline there is a layer of white hair. If your don’t have a Forelock then your hairline is the same colour as the rest of your hair.

HAIR COLOUR:

My mom has blonde hair and my dad has brown hair so now, My brothers and I all have dirty blonde hair.

PINKIES:

I have straight pinkies so my pinkies go straight from my palm to the end of my pinky. If your were to have bent pinkies then your pinkies would be straight up until your 2nd knuckle, then it would become diagonal.

THUMB:

My thumbs are straight, meaning that after my 1st knuckle my thumb is straight. If I had bent thumbs then after my 1st knuckle it would be bent outwards.

TOES:

My 2nd toe is larger than my big toe, because my dad is the same way. If I were to have toes like my mom then my 2nd toe would be shorter than my big toe.

TONGUE:

Everybody in my family can roll our tongues meaning that we can roll up the sides of our tongues to make them touch at the top. If you couldn’t roll your tongue then if you tried then then muscles in your tongue wouldn’t be able to move that way.
