Page 237 Morals
1. No, we should not because they are technically people and last time I checked we aren't allowed to give people's lives to other people, no matter how you sugar coat it you could call it "donating embryos to science" it doesn't matter it is still giving a life to somebody. these embryos are from a couple's bodies and i'm almost 100% sure that no couple anywhere would give up their unborn babies, because some scientist wants to study it.
Page 236 Morals
I have nothing against the Stem Cells company, but something I do have a problem with is the fact that they want to research embryos and the reproduction of the human body. If you were a parent, and you discovered that you, for some reason were unable to have a child via sexual reproduction, and you had to undergo in vitro fertilization, and after 5 days the scientists had found the healthiest embryo and put it into the woman in the couple's uterus, Now you will be able to start a family... but what about the other embryos? where did they go? were they grown into fully grown babies, discarded, or even donated to study their production? now why... why would you want that to happen to your own child, would you give up your baby so that some scientist could look at him or her and most likely not even get anywhere with it. Now i realize and have considered the fact that this could save many human lives and could stop quite a bit of diseases but not like this, this is in-humane, and if there was any other way then I would be all for it, but not like this.

The Cell Cycle
The cell mitosis cycle is very important because it helps the cells to be sure that it is in proper condition to undergo mitosis. If there were no “checkpoints” to make sure that the cell is in working condition then during mitosis the two sister cells could become mutated or damaged. The “checkpoints” make sure that the cell will be able to properly start and complete the process of mitosis without any mutations or missing bases.
THE CELL CYCLE:
First the cell goes through the first stage of the cycle; growth and preparation.
Next the DNA begins to replicate itself in order to make another nucleus.
Then the cell resumes growing and preparing itself for mitosis.
And finally the cells splits into two and the cycle is complete.
My Common Genetic Characteristics
DIMPLES:
Dimples are little indents in your cheeks when you smile. They can also be little crescent shaped indents on the inside of your cheeks. (closer to your mouth) If you don’t have dimples then when you smile your cheeks are flat or they have no indents in them.
EARLOBES:
I have dangling earlobes so that means that my earlobes are not connected to the side of my head. If you have attached earlobes then the bottom of your ear connects directly to the side of your head without handing out at all.
MID-DIGIT HAIR:
Mid-digit hair is when you have hair on the 2nd knuckle of your fingers. But if you don’t have mid-digit hair then your 2nd knuckles are bare, but that dosen’t mean that you do or dont have hair on your first knuckle.
FORELOCK:
A forelock is when at the end of your hairline there is a layer of white hair. If your don’t have a Forelock then your hairline is the same colour as the rest of your hair.
HAIR COLOUR:
My mom has blonde hair and my dad has brown hair so now, My brothers and I all have dirty blonde hair.
PINKIES:
I have straight pinkies so my pinkies go straight from my palm to the end of my pinky. If your were to have bent pinkies then your pinkies would be straight up until your 2nd knuckle, then it would become diagonal.
THUMB:
My thumbs are straight, meaning that after my 1st knuckle my thumb is straight. If I had bent thumbs then after my 1st knuckle it would be bent outwards.
TOES:
My 2nd toe is larger than my big toe, because my dad is the same way. If I were to have toes like my mom then my 2nd toe would be shorter than my big toe.
TONGUE:
Everybody in my family can roll our tongues meaning that we can roll up the sides of our tongues to make them touch at the top. If you couldn’t roll your tongue then if you tried then then muscles in your tongue wouldn’t be able to move that way.
